Liliya Mukhamejanova
Liliya Mukhamejanova was born in Uralsk, Kazakhstan, where she started her literary journey exploring a mix of Russian, Kazakh, and Anglophone authors. She is currently pursuing a Sociology major at Nazarbayev University with minors in History and Literature. Liliya’s first work, a short story about an anthropomorphic locomotive named Richard, was published for a contest at a local railway station where her mother worked. Now, Liliya spends her free time writing poetry inspired by myths and folktales, returning library books late, watching pretentious old movies, and playing with her dog.
